This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Tipping Point mobile application ("Tipping Point" or "the App"). • Email Address: Collected at account creation to identify users and provide account-related functionality.
• Password: Collected at account creation and stored securely using industry-standard hashing techniques.
• Donation Amounts: Recorded when users make pledges through the App. This information is tied to your account for tracking purposes.
• Usage Analytics: We collect anonymous information about how users interact with the App (e.g., screen views, actions taken) via Firebase Analytics.

We do not collect payment information (e.g., credit card details), location data, or device identifiers beyond what Firebase collects by default for app functionality and analytics.

2. How We Collect Information

Information is collected in the following ways:

• User Input: When you voluntarily enter information (e.g., creating an account, making a pledge).
• Automatic Collection: Through Firebase Analytics, which automatically gathers usage data to help us improve the App.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Track your pledges and donation history.
• Improve, personalize, and enhance the App's performance.
• Monitor and analyze usage and trends to better understand how users interact with the App.

• Firebase (Google LLC): We use Firebase Authentication and Firebase Analytics to operate and analyze the App. Firebase may collect device information and usage statistics necessary for their services.

5. Data Deletion and User Control

You have the right to delete your account and associated data at any time. An in-app option is available to permanently delete your account. Upon deletion, all associated personal information (email address, password, pledges) is removed from our servers, subject to reasonable backup and archival processes.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The App does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies. However, Firebase Analytics may automatically collect anonymized device and usage data as part of its service.

7. Security of Your Information

We implement the following measures to protect your personal information:

• SSL Encryption: All communications between the App and our servers are encrypted.
• Password Security: Passwords are stored securely using industry-standard hashing and salting techniques.
• Access Control: Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
